Private Events

Hosting your event at our unique location will provide a memorable experience for you and your guests. Our rustic vineyard setting amid a lush landscape with a private pond and the surrounding mountains make Sugarleaf Vineyards an ideal location for memorable events whether quaint and intimate or large and grand.

Fees & Policies

Rental fees range from a minimum of $500 to $4,000 depending on the number of persons and the areas needed. The rental fee includes tables and chairs for up to 200 people and one winery employee for the duration of the event. There is a 50% facility deposit that is non-refundable and the balance is due two weeks before the event. A $500- $1000 security deposit is also required and is refunded if the clean-up is satisfactory and no damages have occurred to the property. Should damages exceed the amount of the deposit, Sugarleaf Vineyards will bill the renting party the difference.

The security deposit must also cover damages caused by renter's guests or service providers. Satisfactory clean-up is ultimately the responsibility of the renter and must be completed the night of the event. We may also ask that you have event insurance through your insurance carrier specifically for the date and time of your event.

A small kitchen with an oven, stove and refrigerator is available upon request to prepare or store food. A single handicap-accessible restroom is provided. Larger groups will need to rent portable toilets if the use of one restroom is not sufficient for your event.

Alchohol Policy

Only Sugarleaf Vineyards wines may be served. If you wish to have other alcohol - your caterer will need to have an ABC license to cover the event as the winery license covers only the wine. If you obtain an ABC license, or your caterer provides one, then beer is permitted in bottles only (no kegs) and liquor may be served as well under your caterer's ABC license.

Clean-Up

Clean up is the responsibility of the renter. All food and beverage-related trash should be removed by the caterer. The dressing areas, kitchen, and all serving areas should be thoroughly cleaned by the catering staff prior to departure.

Music

We allow dance bands and fully amplified music in the outside areas until 10pm, after 10pm the music is limited to small jazz, bluegrass, classical, string and acoustic bands. Music should conclude by 11:00 p.m.
